Sounds like a shuffle remix of "Sweet Dreams" by Eurythmics, i like it;)

LegenDelta responds:

It actually does! Didn't think of that until you said it! :D Also, thanks!

You have something to work on indeed, but you'll get there if you try hard enough. The high pitched lead is a bit too agressive in its way of changing around. maybe substitute the chords a bit, so they stay in the same general area. if the tempo was slower, the bass would fit nicely in a build. I personally wouldn't upload anything in this state, unless i wanted feedback/help with how to go further with the track, which i guess is what you're after.
Anyway have a nice day and keep improving.

QruintroX responds:

Thanks for the tips! I personally uploaded it because i like to share some melody's and things that i came up with. This way people can also hear some stuff that i'm working on without having to wait a month for a full song.

pretty good, although i can recognize the drums from fpc, which kinda ruins the immersion for me :P. The chord progression is nice, but it could use a little variation. the synth(harmless?) at 2:15 doesn't fit at all i think. overall a pretty good song, which could use some more variation, and better mixing+sound design.

TurbonicZ responds:

Thanks! i always use FPC for my drums, which is kinda cringe lol. The harmless synth was chosen because i didn't know what to choose.

also the chord progression is sampled from a 70s song.

Pretty decent track, especially the growls you are very good at. The rest is ok at most. You should definitly look more in to the mixing, as that would make your tracks bearable to listen to. turning down the gain on the fruity limiter would help a lot (i can hear you're using fl). and try to make the sound levels of the different thing (drums, lead, chords, growls) more even. Keep improving, and have a nice day.

Thank you very much for detailed and exact review. Now I can see what exactly is bad in my tracks (yes, I knew there was something wrong with them, but I couldn’t figure out what exactly was). And yes, I make my tracks in FL :)

The chick corea cover is sick

EDIT: gave it 4,5 out of 5 instead of the misclick, also i meant sick, not stuck.
Here's a link to it by the way https://soundcloud.com/chickcorea/footprints

sorohanro responds:

I have no idea what you mean by "stuck", but I know that is a bit slow (140 bpm, and should be around 170 bpm). Soon I'll make a version at 170 bpm, with some more exciting solos and parts, hpe you'll like that one more ;)
As for "Chick Corea cover", it's a composition by Wayne Shorter (who played with Art Blakey, Miles Davis and Weather Report), and it became a jazz standard. I guess Chick Corea played it also.
Thanks for review.
